About Save a Lido Today
Save A Lido Today, SALT, was formed to see Droitwich Spa Lido reopened. We have campaigned for over 4 years with continued popular support our objective being to see the Lido open again. After much campaigning, lobbying and discussion, Wychavon District Council have now put forward a set of proposals which SALT believes, with some modifications, would satisfy the wishes of the majority of Droitwich Spa residents and other former patrons of the Lido. The public now have a final chance to put forward their views on how the Lido should be saved for future generations
Today this web site is a place to inform you of our views and activities.
In the future we would like to see it used to promote Droitwich Spa Lido, one of the last remaining inland salt water lidos in the country, as a place of recreation and sport.
